- JACKOPIERCE "Vineyard"
Albums
1 - "Someday You'll Understand" Demos - Release Date: ??/??/1990
Produced by Keith Hays under the Rhythmic Records label, the first release from JACKOPIERCE was cassette only. Known as the "Someday You'll Understand" Demos it sold over a hundred units the first day-in six hours. With that success and the requests for a CD, the guys went back in the studio and recorded some new tracks. They kept two of the tracks from this "Someday You'll Understand" demos to keep on their self-titled album, which are "Three of Us In A Boat" & "Someday You'll Understand".
2 - "JACKOPIERCE" - Release Date: 07/31/1990
Their first self-entitled album again under the Rhythmic Records label. All songs were recorded with a seven piece band backing Jack and Cary up. It was recorded live on a 2 track DAT and then converted in the studio. Two of the original tracks from the "Someday You'll Understand" casette demos ("Three of Us In A Boat" & "Someday You'll Understand") made it onto their first album, and those 2 songs were produced by Keith Hays. It featured the crowd favorite Dave Loggins cover of "Please Come to Boston" & the traditional song that they would play for encore many-a-nights called "May The Road Rise to Meet You".
